Dr. Cox has been practicing medicine since 1985. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University School of Arts and Sciences, and his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
